MAHNSAR - RAMGARH - FATEHPUR - MANDAWA SIGHTSEEING
One of the advantages of Churu is its location: for multiple day stays, MKK is an excellent base for exploring the neighboring villages of Ramgarh and Mahansar. Towns of Fatehpur and Mandawa are also a short drive away. A full day tour also covers towns of Mandawa and Fatehpur which are more touristy and busy. There are several havelis of interest with most notable being Nadine Le Prince haveli (in Fatehpur) and Goenka/ Saraf havelis in Mandawa

VISITING DIFFERENTLY-ABLED SCHOOL KIDS
Located within walking distance from property, this school was started by a mother to a special child three years ago. Now working with around 40 children, it strives to provide them a positive environment to grow.The idea is to equip these special kids, through training, with the skills necessary to make them independent.
MARWARI COOKING CLASS
While Rajasthan, in general, offers number of sumptuous dishes, Shekhawati has a uniquely different cuisine by marwaris and Jain communities – which are abound here.Very different from gravy oriented, high on fats Rajputi food enjoyed by the maharajas this purely vegetarian and devoid of high spices cuisine primarily uses locally sourced ingredients.
COMMUNITY FARM / DHANI VISIT
Just outside the town, see village life in Dhani Kadwasar. Dhani’s farm produce are much sought after in Churu’s vegetable market and known for their freshness. Rustic village experience where you will see specific farming techniques to best utilize modest water resources of region and solar energy for electricity.

SUNDOWNERS ON SAND DUNES
Take a short ride to reach a gorgeous sand dune spot just outside town. Sit atop dunes for a pleasant evening with sands cooling off underneath your feet.You have a good view of surrounding landscape and with the evening Sun rays kissing you good-bye, it becomes a picture perfect setting.
JOHRA DINNER
8 km from the town lays Prem Sarovar - a small water reservoir typical of area to harvest rain water. In old days, such reservoirs were used by travelers passing by on camel or horse back to take short stops or to pitch a tent nearby to spend the night.Now, this is turned into a magical dinner experience for you.The water backdrop is lit up with Oil lamps, the food gets perfectly cooked on coal, and sit-down candle light environs offer a sublime setting to celebrate some precious moments with your loved ones or to raise a toast on certain special occasions.

Occasionally you can still find deers coming to drink water from here. CAMEL RIDE / CAMEL CART RIDE
Churu is gateway to the Thar desert and if you only have time to do Golden Triangle, your best chance to get a glimpse of what lies beyond in Rajasthan. Its virgin lands present a great opportunity to experience riding Ship of the Desert : the camel.
MOTOR CYCLE TOUR OF SHEKHAWATI
Combine exploration of Shekhawati while adding a flavour of driving on Indian roads, this guided tour covers towns of nearby villages of Mahansar, Ramgarh and Mandawa (possibly Bissau as well). We avoid Fatehpur because it generally observes traffic congestion.
EXCURSION TO TAL CHAAPAR BLACKBUCK SANCTUARY
Tal Chaapar is the only wildlife sanctuary in western Rajasthan and houses hundreds of blackbucks. The sanctuary area is mostly a flat area covered by grasses. It is also an excellent birding site with harriers, Eastern Imperial Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, sparrow, and Little Green Bee-eaters, Black Ibis and Demoiselle cranes, being most common sightings. Peacocks are seen dancing with their feathers spread in full, mostly during the rainy season.
